# Give Birthday Voucher Automatically

# 1. Introduction

Reward your loyal customers with a special birthday voucher automatically when their birthday month arrives. This not only creates a meaningful connection with your customers, but also helps increase repeat purchases and customer retention.

# 2. Send birthday voucher

2.1 Go to Customers > Engagement > edit **Celebrate Customer Birthday** event.

2.2 Scroll to the voucher section and click **Add voucher**.

2.3 Choose method to add voucher:

* Add **new** voucher — create a new voucher
* Add **existing** voucher — select from Discounts > Vouchers list

2.4 To create new voucher, follow steps 3.2 to 7 in [this guide](https://support.easystore.co/en/article/create-promotion-dfu8bh/) to set up general settings, conditions and reward of the voucher based on your offer to birthday customers.

2.5 The voucher will be auto assigned to birthday customers only.

2.6 Complete the settings and **Save** the voucher.

* **Customer eligibility** — you can create different birthday offer for different tiers of customers
* **Voucher visibility** — choose whether you want to let customers see the voucher before and after their birthday months (refer step 2.9)

2.7 The voucher is created but might be inactive, make sure to enable the event to activate it.

2.8 To create another birthday voucher for a different tier, click **Add voucher** and repeat step 2.2 - 2.5 above.

2.9 Once the event is enabled, customers will receive the birthday message on the **first day of their birthday month**, together with the birthday voucher.

2.10 Also make sure the voucher is enabled and **Active** in your **Discounts > Vouchers** list so that customers can see and apply the voucher in their account.

2.11 Birthday voucher will be auto added into customer’s account under **Active Vouchers** tab on the **first day of their birthday month** and valid till the end of the month.

# 3. FAQ

3.1 When and what will customers receive for **Celebrate Customer Birthday** event?

|| 📌 Reminder: Customers can only update their birthday at most once a year, follow the setting in Customers > 3-dot menu > Customer settings > Birthdate.
