# Redeem free .com domain

###### 🎁 Applicable to merchants on EasyStore yearly, 2-year, and 3-year plans.

# 1. Eligibility

You are eligible to redeem a **first-year-free new .com domain (new subscribers)** OR **one-year free .com domain renewal (upgrade)** on the following conditions:

*   Your store has subscribed to any of our **yearly** plan or above, and
*   Your store has never redeemed any new domain or domain renewal from us, and
*   The .**com** domain is hosted by EasyStore, and
*   The **.com** domain is still available ( for new domain )

# 2. Redeem .com domain

2.1 Go to [EasyStore Admin](https://admin.easystore.co/) > Channels > Online Store > Domains > beside Registered domains > **Register new domain**.

2.2 Insert and search for your preferred .com domain name. If the domain is available, you will see **Free for first year**. Click **Buy** button.

2.3 System will prefill domain registration details for you, check and confirm the details are correct > click **Redeem** button.

# 3. Verify and secure the domain

3.1 Initially the domain status might show **Action needed**.

3.2 Kindly allow up to **24 hours** for the domain to be verified. Once the domain is verified, its status will change to **Unsecured**.

3.3 You may now click into the domain > scroll to **SSL Certificate Encryption** section, click **SSL Reissue** button to request an SSL certificate and secure your domain.

3.4 Please note that SSL issuance may take up to **1 hour**, kindly be patient during the process and avoid clicking the button repeatedly. Once the SSL is activated, the status will update to **Secured**.

# 4. Set primary domain

4.1 Click into the domain > click **Set as primary**.

4.2 Primary domain is set.

# 5. Verify domain contact information

Once you have registered the domain, you will receive a **verification email** in your mailbox. Click on the link in the email and follow the instructions to **verify the contact information of your domain**.

|| 📌 Note: If you did not proceed to verify the contact information, the domain will not be accessible after 14 days. You may contact us via [message box](https://admin.easystore.co/?support) or support@easystore.co to resend the verification email.

# 6. Terms & Conditions

*   The redemption is limited to the **.com** domain name only.
*   The redemption is not valid for premium domain name.
*   From 2nd year onwards, the domain will be auto renewed at RM66 / year.
*   Domain name is not changeable once it is registered.
*   The promotion is not applicable to other domain promotions.
*   The promotion can only be redeemed once per store.
*   The redeemed domain name is not transferable to a third party in one year.
*   EasyStore reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of this offer without any prior notice.
