Each product can only belong to ONE shipping profile.

For example:

If Product A (Ice-cream) is added to be under the Shipping Profile of "Chilled"; Therefore, Product A (Ice-cream) will not be able to be added in the other Shipping Profiles ( e.g. General, Fragile, Frozen ).

Q : Can logistic apps support Shipping Profile ?

Yes. However, as for now only the following logistic apps will be able to support Shipping Profiles.

EasyParcel Malaysia - Supports Shipping Profile with "General" Shipping Condition.

Please refer to the image below for a clearer info:

Q : How the Shipping Rates are calculated during Checkout?

There are 3 scenarios to refer to :

1. SCENARIO 1 : If the orders appears to have products with Mixed Profiles.

For example :

Customer is going to purchase 2 product(s) that are from 2 different Shipping Profiles.

- Product A from "General" Shipping Profile.
- Product B from " Fragile" Shipping Profile.

Thus, this means that there are 2 different Shipping Rates ($) :

- Product A from "General" Shipping Profile using "Flat rate per order" (Shipping Method) with the Shipping rate ($) of RM 5.00.

- Product B from " Fragile" Shipping Profile using "Flat rate per order" (Shipping Method) with the Shipping rate ($) of RM 25.00.

Thus, when your customer reach the Checkout page, he/she will be seeing this:

Combined Shipping : RM 5.00 + RM 25.00 = RM 30.00

2. SCENARIO 2 : If the orders appears to have products from the Same Profile.

For example :

Customer is going to purchase product(s) that are from same Shipping Profiles.

Thus, when your customer reach the Checkout page, he/she will be seeing this:

3. SCENARIO 3 : As mentioned that EasyParcel Malaysia & Ninja Van Malaysia are the only current logistic apps that support Shipping Profile. Therefore, for EasyParcel Malaysia & Ninja Van Malaysia , the shipping rates will be shown during checkout if the cart only contains "General" Shipping Profile (condition).

Q : What if customer is trying to purchase a product which is out of my shipping zone?

For example :

Customer wants to purchase Product A and he/she is from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. But as the merchant, you did not set Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as the available shipping zone for Product A.

So, here is what your customer will see when he/she is trying to checkout.

There will be a pop-up message to notify your customer that the " Item(s) in your cart can't be shipped to your location".

Thus, what your customer can do is to click _"Remove item from cart"_ to proceed the checkout process without the Product A.
