1. Introduction


Barcode Label app streamline your product labeling process. With this app, you can effortlessly create and print barcode labels, enhancing your stock management and efficiency.


  • Automatic Code-128 Generation: Generate Code-128 barcodes automatically for all your products, ensuring accurate and efficient scanning.

2. Install Barcode Label app


2.1 Log in to your EasyStore admin panel and install the app to your store via this link.



3. Add barcode to product


First, make sure product has a barcode


Insert existing barcode


2.1 If the product already have a barcode, there are several ways you can insert it to the product:


  1. Log in to your EasyStore admin panel > Products > click into the product editing page > insert the barcode manually under Inventory section > Save.


💡To bulk insert barcode for several products at a time, check out bulk editor.



  1. If you already have 1 label for the barcode, you can open EasyStore mobile app > Products > tap into the product editing page > scan the label to insert barcode > Save.



  1. If you have the existing barcodes list in Excel or CSV file, you may bulk update them to products using Excel or CSV file method.


Generate barcode


2.2 If the product do not have a barcode yet, you can let system generate one for you.


Go to Products > tick the products > More actions > Generate Barcodes.



Products that do not have barcode yet will be auto ticked > click Generate barcodes.



Barcodes are now generated. If suitable, you can continue to print barcode by clicking Print labels and you will be redirected to step 5.2 below.


📌 Once barcode generated, it will be auto saved to the product.



4. Add label template


Next, create template for the label.


2.1 Go to Apps > Barcode Label > click Add new template.



4.2 Give the template a name for your own reference.


Label Type - select your preferred label type (roll or grid) and size.



4.2 Scroll down to Label details - select the product details and their font size to be shown on the label.


  • Product title
  • Variants name
  • Barcode height
  • Barcode number
  • SKU
  • Price


Check the label preview on the right side. Once everything ok, click Save.



4.4 Label template saved in template list.



5. Print barcode label


5.1 Go to Products > tick the products > More action > Print Barcode Labels.



5.2 Select the template and set the label quantity to print:


  1. Use item stock for labels - auto apply number of labels following stock quantity (after click, the button changed to ‘set labels to zero’)
  2. Apply all - fill in the number of labels and apply it to all items
  3. Or, manually set number of labels for each item

5.3 Check the total labels to be printed. Once everything ok, click Print X Labels.


📌 Maximum 1000 labels can be printed each time. Emoji would be automatically removed.

6.1 What barcode printer models are supported?


  • Most printers that support printing standard barcode labels.
  • Make sure the printer supports the label size selected in your label template.
  • Thermal printer is recommended for best results.


6.2 What are the supported barcode format besides Code-128?


Below are the recommended format but you also can generate barcode based on your preferences.


  • EAN-13
  • UPC-A
  • Code-39
  • ITF
  • ISBN
  • GTIN
  • UPC
