Checklist - Enable Wholesale Portal


Checklist

  1. Create the customer(s) that you wished to add into Wholesale price list
  2. Assign them to a customer group if needed
  3. Setup manual payment
  4. Enable Wholesale portal
  5. Add price list
  6. Set your discount rules
  7. Assign customer(s) / customer group to the price list
  8. Send invitation email to customer
  9. Customer activate account and login to Wholesale portal to start ordering!

1. Create the customer(s) that you wished to add into Wholesale price list


Login to EasyStore's Admin Panel > Customers > Add customer


You may continue to add new customer by repeating the same steps above or choose to import customers if you have a large volume of customers that you wanted to add into Wholesale price list.


2. Assign them to a customer group if needed


You can create a customer group and assign the newly created customer to a specific customer group, for eg Wholesale VIP group A.


Just go to Customers > Tick the customer > Manage groups > Add new group > Insert the group name. To assign the customer into that group, just tick the group created > Assign (1) customer

3. Setup manual payment


As the Wholesale portal does not support online payment now, hence you will need to setup at least one manual payment in your store.


Go to Settings > Payments > Add payment method to setup one manual payment.



4. Enable Wholesale portal


To enable Wholesale portal, you can go to Channels > Search for 'Wholesale Portal' > Enable Wholesale portal



5. Add price list


Price lists > Add Price list > Insert your price list name (customers wont see this)



6. Set your discount rules


Add discount rule(s) to start > There are 3 discount rules: Storewide, Collections and Products


Storewide - Create percentage discount for all products in your store.



Collections - Create percentage discount for selected collections. The discount will only apply on the selected collection itself, not including their sub-collection and mini-collection. You can create discount for sub-collection and mini-collection by adding another new discount rule.



Products - Fix wholesale prices for products/variants. By using volume break, you can fix different prices for different order quantity. You can also determine the increment quantity to require your customers to order in bulk.



Each price list can contain multiple discount rules, for eg:


  • Wholesale VIP group A: contain storewide and product rules


  • Wholesale VIP group B: contain collections and products rules



You can adjust your priority according to your need. System will apply discount based on priority of each rule.


📌 Important Note :*


Collections : Depends on the priority number you set

Products : Depends on the priority number you set

Storewide: Must be last priority


7. Assign customer(s) / customer group to the price list


8. Send invitation email to customer


After done adding the discount rule, you may now assign the customer(s) / customer group to the price list and send an invitation email to them.



9. Customer activate account and login to Wholesale portal to start ordering!


The invited customers will receive an email to activate their account.



Once successfully activated and logged in, the customers will be able to place order with wholesale prices.
