1. Introduction

A better way to boost sales during festive season is to acquire customers early and get customers to repeat purchase with a members only sale. A members day sale is an event that offers exclusive discounts to members and not the public. It can be a great way to increase sales and build loyalty among customers.

It can also be used as a value to convert visitors to customers and encourage them to purchase more to become a member. Thus, helping you to drive more sales.

2. Create discounts for members only

📌Note: Before setting up member-exclusive discounts, you must first enable the Points & Membership feature and create membership tiers. For a step-by-step guide, refer to: Membership System (Loyalty Program)


Step 1 : Go to EasyStore’s admin panel > Promotions > Add discount

Step 2: Choose a Discount Template or Create Your Own

You can select a discount type that best fits your promotion. For this guide, we’ll use "% OFF with Min Purchase" as an example.


In this case, members will receive a percentage discount off their total order amount before shipping fees are applied.

Step 3: Name your promotion

Give your promotion a clear and descriptive name for easy reference.


Step 4: Set Purchase Requirements and Discount Value

In this step, you’ll define the discount conditions. For example, members will receive a 20% discount on the order subtotal, with a requirement of purchasing at least 2 items.



Step 5: Set the discount method

Since this is a Members Day Sale, it's recommended to set the discount method to Automatic Discount. This way, customers in the eligible membership tier will receive the discount automatically at checkout, without needing to enter any discount code.



Step 6: Set Discount Condition to Apply for Selected Membership Tier(s)

💡Select all membership tiers if the discount applies to every tier. If you'd like to offer different discount amounts for specific tiers, you will need to create separate discounts for each tier.



Step 7: Set the Time Period for the Members Day Sale Event

Select the start and end dates for your discount by clicking the date box. Be sure to untick the "No expiry date" option to enable selection of an end date.

The discount will only be applied within the specified time frame.


Step 8: Check discount summary and save

3. How members can get the discounts

Since the discount is set as an Automatic Discount, members only need to log in to your store when making a purchase. The discount will then be automatically applied at checkout—no extra steps needed!


📌 If you have set the discount as Voucher method, the customers can also view their available vouchers from the Voucher page.

Customers can view their available vouchers by clicking the Profile icon at the top right and selecting Voucher.


They will see three types of vouchers:

Active Vouchers – Vouchers that can be used for their next purchase.
Shop Vouchers – Exclusive vouchers provided by your store.
Past Vouchers – Expired or used vouchers for reference
