1. Introduction
With the membership system, merchants can create multiple membership tiers based on customer spending levels. This allows merchants to identify their most loyal customers. Additionally, you can set up custom earning and redemption formulas, helping you build stronger relationships with loyal customers by offering them exclusive rewards.
❗️Important thing before enable Loyalty Program
If changes were made to customers/account.liquid and customers/order.liquid files, please reset them in Channels > Online Store > Edit source > templates.
2. Create membership tier
📌 Note:
Different membership tiers cannot have the same membership name
Different membership tiers cannot have the same upgrade threshold
Tier branding
Step 1: Go to EasyStore’s admin panel > Customers > Points & Membership > click Get Started
Step 2: Set your loyalty point name & click next
Step 3: Setup your loyalty point earning & redemption rate > click enable loyalty point
Step 4 : Add membership tier
Step 5: Start your tier branding by giving it a name & set your custom membership (lifetime or custom period)
There are three options available for setting the membership's custom validity period.

6 months
12 months
Example Scenario:
On January 1st 2024, Customer A upgraded to the Silver tier membership with a validity period of 3 months. However, Customer A did not meet the minimum spending requirement for an automatic extension. As a result, their Silver tier membership will expire on March 1st, 2024.
Step 6: Upload tier card images. You may choose to upload logo or background image for the tier card.

Tier name, logo / background image will be displayed to your members under 'My Account’
Membership upgrade
Step 7: Set the upgrade condition that allow members to automatically upgrade to this membership tier.
💡 If you have multiple membership tiers created, the upgrade conditions for all tiers will be displayed as shown in the screenshot above.
📌 Note:
System will include orders for accumulated purchase only when the order is fully paid.
Every time when an order is paid, total purchase amount will be calculated to validate if the customer is eligible to upgrade to a higher tier.
Example Scenario:
- January 1st, 2024: Customer B started in the default membership tier (Silver tier requires a cumulative total spend of RM 10000 to be upgraded)
- February 2nd, 2024: Customer B fully paid for an order with the total of RM 600.
- May 1st, 2024: Customer B fully paid for another order with total of RM 400 spent, reaching the required cumulative spend of RM 1000 (RM 600 + RM 400)
Thus, was promoted to the Silver Tier
You can also set members to be automatically upgraded based on a single order when they spend the amount you have specified.
Membership extension
Step 8: Set the minimum spend required for auto-extension, allowing your customer to extend their current membership tier upon expiration.
Example Scenario:
- January 1st, 2024: Customer A upgraded to the Silver tier membership with a validity period of 6 months.
- May 1st, 2024: Customer A placed and paid for an order worth RM 500.
- June 1st, 2024: The system detected that Customer A's Silver tier membership had expired and verified that the customer met the renewal threshold.
As a result, Customer A's Silver tier membership was renewed.
📌 Note: You will only be able to see this Membership extension feature if you have set membership period to have a custom period

Q : Can a membership tier be deleted?
A: Yes, any created membership tier created can be deleted. However, if any of the customers still belong to that tier, the specific membership tier cannot be deleted.
Q : How to manually change customer membership tier?
A: You can change customer membership tier at:
EasyStore admin panel > Customers > Click on customer name > Points & Membership
