1. What is point domain?
Point domain means you point your existing custom domain which was purchased through another 3rd party domain provider (such as Exabytes, GoDaddy, Namecheap and etc.) to your store so that the domain will show your store when visitors visit this domain.
2. How to point domain?
Step 1 : Log in to your domain panel (where you have purchased domain) > enter the page where you can manage your DNS setting.
Step 2 : Go to EasyStore Admin > Channels > Online Store > Domains > under Active domains > Add existing domain
Step 3 : Insert your domain name > Confirm
Step 4 : Follow the setting in the admin panel to point to your domain

📌 Note:
- There would be a total of 4 A records and 2 CNAME records that need to be added/ modified at your domain provider side
- If you are not sure how to add it, you may provide the information of the DNS record to your domain provider to assist in adding the records. The informations can be obtained from EasyStore’s admin panel > Channels > Online Store > Domains > Edit
- TTL means how long the server should cache the information ( usually left as default ).
- Changing DNS could take up to 24 hours to take effect
Step 5 : After done adding the DNS records above, tick the activating free SSL options and verify domain button
3. Verify and secure your domain
Once done the steps for point domain, your domain settings will look like below. Kindly allow up to 24 hours for the domain to be verified and goes online
Once the domain is verified and online, your domain status will become Secured and you are done!

at Channels > Online Store > Domains > Edit
4. Set your domain as primary
The primary domain is the main address for your website
Step 1 : Channels > Online Store > Domains > Active domains > Click Edit beside the primary domain
Step 2 : **Check **Set as primary domain > Save.
