📌 Remark :
Some might be having a different interface on the Facebook Live Producer Page. The settings are the same, only layout & interface will be slightly different.
You need to have a Facebook page to create & run a Facebook Live. If you do not have any Facebook Page, you can create one from here

1. Connect with Facebook Live



Step 1 : Go to EasyStore Admin Panel > Channels > Facebook Live > Enable Facebook Live



Step 2 : Continue as your Facebook account and you are connected.



2. Create and run a Facebook Live



Step 1: Go to Facebook Page > Schedule Live event > select start & end Date/Time > click Next > Select the settings available > Create Event





💡  Tips: You can set and check the settings before your video go live.
1. Select a video source
- use Webcam / Streaming software
2. Camera Controls
- set Camera, Microphone and Screen Share.



Step 2 : In EasyStore Admin Panel > Channels > Facebook Live > Click "Create Live Control Room**



Step 3 : Insert the "Title " and "Description" of your Live Control Room (for your own reference) > click "Create"



💡 Tips: Once you clicked "Create", this is what you will be seeing next; This is your "Live Control Room"



Step 4 : Next, you will have to choose what product(s) are going to be on sale on the Facebook Live that you are creating. Thus, click "Add".



Step 5 : "Tick" the selected product(s), and click "Add Product".



💡 Tips: Once you clicked "Add product", here you will see the added product(s) on the right in the Live Control Room. These are the product(s) that are going to be on sale on your Facebook Live.

💡 Tips: Do not worry if you have missed out a product to be added because you can always click the "Add" button on the top right to add more product(s) even when your Facebook Live is running.



💡 Tips: Hover your mouse / tap on the added product, you will see 2 icons.

1. Edit. Click on the "Edit" icon to make changes to:
The auto generated Product Code (optional)
Product Price ($)
Product Inventory





(New Enhancement) You can set a special offer for any product during Facebook Live

📌Important Note: The edited price will ONLY affect the specific Facebook Live and it will be shown after any price changes are made.



💡Tips:
- Custom price product is not entitled to the normal discount.
- Customers are not allowed to +/- quantity in the cart.
- Seller is allowed to edit the quantity of custom price products from Facebook Live cart.
- Once the product is added to the cart, you are not allowed to add a similar product with its original price.

2. Remove. Click "Remove" to cancel the product(s) to be on sale on the current Facebook Live you are creating / running.





Step 6 : Next, click "Connect to Facebook Live" > click "Create Live Video "



Step 7 : Once clicked "Create Live Video", it will pop up the ongoing live. Click “Connect” to connect with the live and you are successfully connected.



💡 Tips : Once clicked "Connect", this is how your Live Control Room will look like.



You are all set and let's start selling ! 😀


3. Sell on Facebook Live



Once you have done all the settings in 2. Create and run a Facebook Live here is how you can sell your products to your customers on Facebook Live.

💡 Tips : There are 2 ways you can sell your product(s) to your customer on Facebook Live.

1. Announce Product

Sell more than one product at the same time during live.

2. Run Flash Sales

Sell product one by one.

1. Announce Product



You can announce your product(s) to allow customers to comment
product code+1 at any time during the live broadcast in order to place an order.



For example :

Step 1 : When clicked the "Announce Product" icon, there will be an Automated Comment below your Live Video to notify your customers.

Automated Comment include:
Product name
Product code
Price
Instruction on how to place an order

💡 Tips : If the selected product(s) has/have Variants ( e.g. S,M,L , Pink/Blue/Yellow, etc ) you will notice that there are different product codes auto-generated for each of the variant.

*You can edit the auto-generated codes according to your preference.



💡 Tips : If the product(s) has/have Variants, the automated comment will include the variants as well with the respective prices and codes as well as an instruction on how to place an order.



Step 2 : Customers who are interested to purchase your product(s) only have to follow the instruction and Comment " code + quantity " to purchase.

Step 3 : Once commented, an automated message will be sent to customers' messenger according to the product code(s) + quantity that they have commented.



💡 Tips : Below are the supported "code + quantity " format that can be commented:
A1 (without quantity & only support 1 product code at a time)
A1+1, A2+1 (only comma between)
A1+1 A2+1 (only space between)
A1+1
A2+2 (separated with new line)

⚠ Any other formats will not be able to trigger the system to send an automated message to the customers on messenger to proceed the purchase

Step 4 : Once received the automated messenger, customers may click View Cart / Checkout to proceed the purchase.



💡Tips: In your Live Control Room : [New Enhancement]
Customers who commented on the product(s) that they wish to purchase will be listed in the control room during live as shown in the image below :



📌Important Note:
The list will show maximum of 1000 orders for now.

Merchant allow to add products, edit product quantity and remove products from selected customer's carts.





📌Important Note: Order(s) placed is not allow to make changes anymore. (Our system will show _alert_ when merchant click the cart icon).

💡Tips: Experience more features in New EasyStore Admin Panel Live Control Room : [New Enhancement]

If you have enable or currently in our New EasyStore Admin Panel, you can actually experience more features such as:

New layout whereby you can reply to the comment, open a conversation or edit customer's cart:



Below image is the detail example on how it looks like if you choose to reply to customer's comment:



And this is another sample if you choose to edit customer's cart option:



2. Run Flash Sales



Run a flash sale for your product(s) during live for a limited time to allow customers to place orders by commenting +1.



For example :

Step 1 : When clicked the "Run Flash Sales" icon, there will be an Automated Comment below your Live Video to notify your customers.

Automated Comment include:

Product name
Instruction on how to place an order

Customers can place orders according to the limited time the sellers decided on how long they want to run the flash sale for each of the selected product.



💡Tips : If the product(s) has/have Variants, sellers have to "Run Flash Sales" one by one for each of the variant.



Step 2 : Customers who are interested to purchase your product(s) during the "Run Flash Sales" only have to follow the instruction and Comment "+1 " to purchase.

Step 3 : Once commented, an automated message will be sent to customers' messenger according to which product's "Run Flash Sales" that they have commented.



Step 4 : Once received the automated messenger, customers may click View Cart / Checkout to proceed the purchase.



💡Tips: In your Live Control Room : [New Enhancement]

Customers who commented on the product(s) that they wish to purchase will be listed in the control room during live as shown in the image below :



📌Important Note: The list will show maximum of 1000 orders for now.

Step 5 : Stop the "Run Flash Sales".

⚠ Remember to go back to the Live Control Room and click the "Stop" button to stop running the Flash Sales for the selected product before proceeding to running the Flash Sales for the next product.



💡 Tips : Once clicked Stop, there will be an Automated Comment below your Live Video to notify your customers that the selected product's Flash Sales has stopped running.



⚠ For example :

If seller has stopped running the Flash Sales for " Family Tree Photo Frame" and the "unavailable" automated comment has been commented below the Live Video, thus, the system will not be able to trigger any following "+1 " comments from any customers who wish to place order for "Family Tree Photo Frame" because the Flash Sales for "Family Tree Photo Frame" ended.

4. End a Facebook Live



Step 1 : To end a Facebook Live, go back to "Live Control Room" > click "End Live" > click End to confirm.





💡 Tips : Once ended, you can go to EasyStore Admin Panel > Channels > Facebook Live > Live Videos to check back your record of Live Videos.



💡 Tips : Click into the _Title of live video_ to view the _statistics_ and watch the live video again. Statistics include :
Estimated earnings
Items in cart
Items purchased
Conversion rate



📝Additional Note : You can now view the "Status" of every Live Videos for your own references.

Live Video Status :
Preparing
Scheduled
Live
Completed
Archived



Click the dropdown button in "All Live Videos" to Filter and Search for your Live Videos according to the Status.



5. Check Statistic in Facebook Live



If you have enable or currently in our New EasyStore Admin Panel, you can actually access to our new features such as Sales Performance and also Comment Management.

In Sales Perfomance, you can keep track of these details:
Total display the list of products and variants added during live
Number of items that added to shopping cart, ordered and paid
Total amount paid for the items



In Comment Management, you can check back these details:
Display list of comments from each customer (limited to first 10 comments only)
List of items that currently in the cart (if is available)
List of order number in which the order placed
Allow to edit cart, create as order & send message as well



This is an example on how to create as order






📌 Not just that, our system have also improvise payment reminder feature where you can now send payment reminder to your customer via Messenger instead of just email. You can utilize this feature to reach out to customers that are more active on Facebook!



6. How to start a Facebook Live on mobile?



You can actually schedule the Facebook Live date & time on Facebook in advance. By scheduling it in advance, the system will automatically publish an announcement about your recent live broadcast and notify your audience immediately.

Step 1 : You may click on Channels > Facebook Live and click Create Live. You will be directed to this Facebook Live Producer Page. Click on Schedule Live Video Event under Schedule on the top left



Step 2 : Scheduled the start & end Date/Time for the Facebook Live to be published > Select the settings available > click Next



Step 3 : Once everything has been selected accordingly, click Create Event.

📌 Things to take note of:
The system will automatically start Facebook Live at the scheduled start time & date.
You must start the live broadcast 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. Otherwise, the Facebook Live will be canceled.
Make sure your live broadcast is set up properly before starting the Facebook Live
You can preview the stream 20 minutes before the scheduled start time. To go to the stream, please click on the Upcoming Live Videos & Events > Edit Post
You can click on View Post to see how it would appear on Facebook



After that, go to your Facebook on mobile > Events and you'll see the scheduled Facebook Live there. Click on it > Click Manage and this dropdown will appear, click Start Live Video to begin your Facebook Live



Go back to the EasyStore admin panel > Facebook Live. Click on the scheduled Facebook Live and you can start to publish the product to sell on your Facebook Live! 😍

Kindly note that if the Facebook Live scheduled with mobile, cannot go live with laptop and vice versa.

7. Facebook live message format settings



Step 1 : Click into Channels > Facebook Live > Settings to edit the message format here for :

Facebook Automated Responses



Announce Product Comment



Flash Sales Message



Lucky draw start and end





Step 2 : Once edited the message format, click Save and you're done!


8. Host Lucky Draw Event for your Facebook Live (New Feature)



If you wish to have more chances to interact with your customer in real-time or grab the attention of your customer to increase purchases decision. You are now allowed to run the Lucky Draw event during Facebook Live.

8.1. Create lucky draw event
Step 1: Once you have created live control room, click on the Event tab above the Live products section.



Step 2: On the event section, click Add lucky draw button on the top right.



Step 3: Fill in the following fields: “Title”, “Event Prize”, “Number of winner(s)” and “Event Participation Keyword”.

📌 Note:
The 4 fields stated above are mandatory fields.
Keywords only support alphanumeric (without special characters and empty spaces).
Example: HappyMothersDay, 9988, Lucky7
Participants must leave a comment with the exact keyword as “Event Participation Keyword” to draw and win.
The number of winners must be greater than 0.



Advanced Setting (optional)
You can choose to offer a free product with 100% discount OR a fixed amount discount.



📌 Note:
Lucky draw prizes will be counted as custom price product, unless you set 0% in the fixed percentage option, then it will be counted as normal price product.
Lucky draw prizes are not entitled to normal discounts and are not allowed to +/- the quantity in the shopping cart.
If the quantity of the prize inventory is less than the entered number of winner(s), it will be blocked from creating lucky draw event. Make sure the quantity is sufficient before choosing the product as a prize.

Step 4: Click Save after filling in the above details.

📌 Important Note: Events are allowed to Delete if Live is not yet started. It is not possible to recover an event once it has been deleted.



8.2. Starting a lucky draw event

Step 1: Once the live video has started, click on the Play icon button to start the lucky draw.



At the same time, the start message will be posted in the comment section once the lucky draw has begun. An “Ongoing” indicator will display on your admin panel beside the event title.





📌 Note:
Once an event has begun, you are not allowed to Delete the event.
Only one lucky draw can be performed at a time.

Step 2: Click on Announce button from three dots menu to repost the message of the lucky draw event in the comment section, so the viewers are aware of lucky draw event.



8.3 Drawing a winner

Step 1: Click on the Draw Now button to start the drawing process.



📌 Note: The comments that come in after you click Draw Now will not be taken as entries.

Step 2: A pop-up to show a list of chosen participants along with their Facebook profile photos.



Step 3: Click on Announce winner(s), it will show the winner of the lucky draw event, and the winner will receive a private message via Facebook Messenger. Meanwhile, the winner will also be posted in the comment section.





The lucky draw prize will be added to the winner’s cart automatically.



8.4 Ends a lucky draw event

8.4.1 Ends a lucky draw event (manually)

End Event by clicking the three dots menu.

📌 Note: If you click End Event before drawing a winner, the ongoing lucky draw event will be ended immediately without a winner.



8.4.2 Ends a lucky draw event (automatically)

Once the lucky draw event winner had announced, the lucky draw event will end automatically.

The winner information can be viewed below the event information after lucky draw event ends.



“End message” will be posted in the comment section immediately after the winner's announcement.
