Domain Registry (MYNIC): Retrieving Username & password for .MY Domain

In order to add / change administrative, billing, technical contact for .MY / .COM.MY domain, access to MYNIC SELFCARE portal is required with username and password. Here's the steps to retrive it.
1. Retrieve username
Step 1 : Click on "Forget username" from the MYNIC login page

Step 2 : Enter the Domain name, email address and perform the Security Challenge.

📌 Note: You may find the email address for your domain contact through the WHOIS Checker.
Step 3 : Next, click on "Retrieve Username" button.

Step 4 : Your Username will be sent to you through the domain contact person email address.

📌 Note: If you do not receive an email, please check your spam folder.
Step 5 : In your email, you will receive an email which states your username and your role of the domain.

📌 Note: If your registered email address is Invalid and want to change it, please email to customercare@mynic.my for assistance.
2. Retrieve password
Step 1 : Click on "Forget password" from the MYNIC login page

Step 2 : Enter the Username, Email Address and perform the Security Challenge.

📌 Note: You may find the email address for your domain contact through the WHOIS Checker.
Step 3 : Click on "Reset Password" button.

Step 4 : Your Password will be send to you through the contact person email address.

📌 Note: If you do not receive an email, please check your spam folder.
Step 5 : The link to reset the password will be given in the notification email. The link given is valid within 7 days and can be used once.

Step 6 : Click the link provided in the notification email to reset password. Enter the new password twice and click the Reset Password button.

Step 7 : A notification page to inform that the password has been reset successfully. You will receive an email notification for the creation of new password.
