1. Introduction

This guide shows you how to hide products from public customers in EasyStore and control who can see them. It’s perfect for creating early-bird offers or VIP-only products, letting you reward loyal customers or test new launches before going public. Learn how it works and how to set it up in just a few steps.

2. About unlist channels

Currently you can unlist products on 3 channels below:

📌 Note: Unlisted setting for the 3 channels is linked — unlist any 1 channel below will hide the products on all 3 channels and vice versa.

  • Online store
  • Shopping App
  • Brand App

3. Unlist product to hide it from public customers

3.1 To unlist product, go to your EasyStore admin panel > Products > click into the product you want to hide.

3.2 Under channel availability, expand any of the 3 channels above > turn on "Unlisted product".

💡 Tips: The drop-down arrow will only be available when product status is Publish.

3.2 Now, the product is unlisted and will not appear in:

  • Online store, Shopping App, Brand App product listings (e.g. Collection pages, View History, Recently Viewed, Recommended Products)
  • Related Apps (e.g. Wishlist, Product Star Rating, Sales Pop)
  • Search results
  • Google Search results (depending on search engine crawl frequency)

4. Share product link to selected customers

For unlisted product, you can allow selected customer to view and purchase it by sharing a special product link.

4.1 In the product details page, click on Share > Copy link. You may now share the link to the selected customers.

💡 Tips: If customer has installed Shopping App or Brand App, system will auto open the product in the app. Otherwise, the link will open in online store.

5. How unlist setting works on bundle product

  • If a child product is unlisted, the parent bundle product will automatically become unlisted.
  • When a child product is unlisted, you won’t be able to manually edit the unlisted option for its parent bundle.
  • If all child products are listed, the parent bundle will return to visible state.
