Let customers register with phone number!
Providing a seamless registration experience is essential for boosting conversions and improving customer convenience. With EasyStore, you can enable phone number registration, allowing customers to sign up and log in using a one-time password (OTP) sent via SMS.
New customers can create an account on your website using their phone number, with email being optional.
Registered customers can log in with their phone number and select which account to connect to if they have multiple accounts.
Customers can reset their password using their phone number.
A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent via SMS for every registration, login, and password reset.
You can manually add customers' phone numbers in Admin Panel > Customers.
This feature is available exclusively in the EasyStore Business Plan.

Go to Customers > Click the 3 Dots Icon on the right screen > Select Customer Settings.

Under Login Methods > Phone number > click on the pencil icon > click Enabled > save

Step 1: For a new customer without an account, click the account icon at the top right corner.

Click sign up & fill in customer's phone number & click continue to proceed

Step 2: Customer will receive the OTP code via their phone number to verify the phone number & proceed with the sign up process

Step 2: Enter the OTP code received

Step 3: After entering the OTP code, the customer will be prompted to fill in their name and password, then click Continue to proceed.

They will then be directed to their customer profile in your online store.

Step 1: If the customer already has an account, they can log in using their Phone Number > Enter their password > Click Login

📌 If you have multiple accounts, select the account you want to link to your phone number > Click Connect.
Step 1: If the customer can't remember their password, they can click "Forgot your password?"

Step 2: Fill in phone number & click submit

Step 3: Fill in the OTP code received & click verify

Step 4: Enter new Password for their account > Confirm Password > Reset Password

The customer has successfully reset their password ✓
📌 Extra note: Customer can also login using their phone number to login via Shopping App as well! Fill in their phone number & click continue

1. Enabling customer phone number accounts

Step 1: If the customer already has an account, they can log in using their Phone Number > Enter their password > Click Login
