1. Introduction


Learn how to publish, schedule, or unpublish products on different sales channels to control where and when customers can see and purchase your products. This gives you the flexibility to support different sales strategies, such as channel-exclusive products, across channels like POS, Online Store, Shopping App, and marketplaces.


2. Where products are published when created


Refer table to know which channels will products be auto published on upon creation using different methods.

3. Set channels availability for single product


Master visibility


3.1 All channels follow master visibility unless individually set for the channel.


📌 Note: Marketplace channels can only follow master visibility after they have been individually published.



3.2 After setting master visibility, you can further set channels availability.


Take note that channels availability are bound by master visibility. Meaning, channels can only be published when master is published.

✅ channel must be the same or later than master schedule date & time.

Explanation

When master is Publish, channels can be any status.

When master is Schedule, channel can’t be published but must be Schedule or Unpublish.

When master is Unpulish, all channels will be unpublished and can’t be published or scheduled.


Channels availability — multiple channels


3.3 In product details page, click the pencil icon beside Online Channels / Point of Sale > tick / untick the channel you’d like to publish / unpublish the product > click the pencil icon one more time.


💡Tips: POS channel is located in a separate section where you can manage product availability by POS locations.



3.4 Some possible questions about the channels checkbox list:


  1. Why marketplace channels like TikTok, Shopee, Lazada etc. are not in the checkbox list?


For marketplaces, you can only publish product by single channel using the 3-dot button method (refer next step 3.4 below). You will be redirected to a separate publish product page to fill in the additional product details required by the marketplace.


  1. Why some channels like Facebook and Google Shopping can't publish / unpublish on their own but follow Online Store?


Because they use Online Store checkout. Refer step 5.2 below.

3.5 Click the 3-dot menu beside the channel and select the actions. The available action buttons depend on the channel and current master & channel status.



3.6 You can unlist for Online Store and Shopping App channels so that products can’t be found but can checkout using special links. Refer this guide about unlisting products.


3.7 Only channels below can be scheduled separately, you will see a calendar icon beside it if the channels are scheduled.

4. Publish or unpublish products in bulk


For all enabled channels


4.1 In product listing page > tick the products you’d like to publish / unpublish > click Publish / Unpublish button > Confirm.



For selected channels


4.2 In product listing page > tick the products you’d like to manage channels visibility > click Sales channels button > Online channels / Point of sale > tick / untick the channels / locations you’d like to publish / unpublish the selected products > Confirm.



5. About product visibility


Channels independent of Online Store


5.1 The following channels use independent checkout link, so their product visibility is based on channel availability and do not depend on Online Store.

Channels dependent on Online Store


5.2 The following channels use Online Store checkout. To avoid customers viewing the products but unable to checkout, these channels can't publish / unpublish on their own but follow Online Store availability.

📌 Note: Unpublishing a product will not automatically delete posts and other services created for the product on Facebook, Google, or YouTube.


Channels partially dependent on Online Store


5.3 Shopping App channel is partially dependent on Online Store availability, because:


  • It uses Online Store checkout,
  • However product visibility is still based on channel availability.


5.4 Overview of checkout methods by channel and what happens when a product is added to cart but the channel or Online Store is unpublished.

6. FAQ


6.1 I have published products but they are still not showing on website.


It might be due to products not published on Online Store channel. Refer step 3 or 4 above to publish them.


6.2 How to change channel from Schedule to Publish immediately?


Make sure master visibility is Publish. Then, click on 3-dot > Edit schedule > click the dustbin icon to delete the schedule calendar.



6.3 How to change channel from Unpublish to Schedule?


Click on 3-dot > Publish the channel first, after that you’ll be able to schedule for the channel.
