1. Why Outlook block external images?



Due to Outlook's External image protection, some photos will not be shown in the email. If you want the images to show in Outlook (outlook.com / live.com / hotmail.com) , you can follow the steps below to disable protection.

2. Settings to show images on outlook



Step 1 : At the top of the page, select the 2nd icon from left > View all Outlook settings



Step 2 : Select General > [Privacy and data](https://outlook.live.com/mail/options/general/export)

Step 3 : Choose from one of the options given
Select Always use the Outlook service to load images if you want to view external images in Outlook.com using an image proxy.
Select Don't use the Outlook service to load images if you don't want Outlook.com to load external images using an image proxy.

⚠️ Warning : If you choose the 2nd option from above, your personal data might be at risk.

3. Settings to allow clickable links on Outlook



Step 1 : You can click 【 File > Options > Mail > Editor Options > AutoCorrect Options > AutoFormat 】

Step 2 : Place a check mark in the "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks" check box in the Replace section

Step 3 : Place a check mark in the "Plain text e-mail documents" check box in the Always AutoFormat section
