Activate SSL certificate

1. What is SSL?

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a server and a client. SSL allows sensitive information such as credit card numbers, social security numbers, and login credentials to be transmitted securely. Therefore, it provides privacy, critical security and data integrity for both your websites and your users' personal information.

The powerful indicator that your customers can trust you is the padlock icon that appears when your online store is fully encrypted, and they look for it whether they’re on your checkout or not.

Additionally, encrypting your website is good for SEO and could lead to a boost in your search position.
