Instagram Shopping

1. Checklist before you begin

Instagram Shopping is not one of the EasyStore sales channels. However, if you wish to sell your EasyStore products to Instagram Shopping, you need to follow the steps given below.

Make sure your country/region is in the list for Instagram Shopping Availability. You may check the market accessibility here

Only physical products can be sold in Instagram Shopping

Your business complies with Facebook's Merchant Agreement Policy & Commerce Policies

Make sure your business is complies with Commerce Eligibility Requirements

Your business owns a website domain.

If you are using a personal account, please switch to professional account. May refer to a guide here

If your business meets all the above requirements, please continue with the following steps to enable Instagram Shopping for your business.

2. Connect Facebook Page with Instagram account (if you already have an existing Facebook Page)

Step 1 : Go to your Facebook Page > Under Manage page > Settings

Step 2 : At Page Settings > Scroll down a bit then see the Instagram > Click Instagram > Connect Account

Step 3 : Login to your Instagram account

Step 4 : Once done, it will appear as such

3. Steps to connect with Instagram Shopping

Step 1 : Connect to a Facebook Page. Go to your business's Instagram profile > Edit profile > Public business information > Page

If you do not have a Facebook page yet, may refer this guide here to create one.
Facebook Page Shop is not required, only a Facebook Page will do.

Step 2 : Add products to Facebook Product Catalogue. If you do not have a Facebook Product Catalogue yet, may refer to this guide here to create one.

If you have connected your Facebook account with EasyStore, a Facebook Product Catalogue will be created and all products in EasyStore will be sync to the Facebook product Catalogue.

Step 3 : Setup Instagram Shopping. Please login to your Instagram account > Settings > Business > Set up Instagram shopping.

Step 4 : Once you have completed the process, kindly submit it for review.

4. Submit your account for Instagram to review

Once you've connected a Facebook Product Catalogue and have products in your catalogue, you can submit your account for Instagram to review. The account reviews make take a few days (can take longer as Instagram will review your account).

Step1 : Go to your business's Instagram profile and select Settings

Step 2 : Sign up for shopping

Step 3 : Follow the steps to submit your account for review.

Step 4 : Visit Shopping in your Settings to check your account review status.

5. What do you need to know?

Some businesses may be notified to verify your website domain. If you have received this notification from Instagram, you may follow the steps to complete the domain verification process to submit your account for review.
