Sell on POS: About Customers

1. Sign up for new customer


1.1 To sign up for customer, tap Add customer.


💡 Tips: Go to Customers > Engagement > Welcome New Customer > add voucher or points to attract customer sign up with you



1.2 Customer just need to provide either their phone or email.


💡 Tips:

  • If you can't see Phone option, follow this guide to enable phone login.
  • Tick "Send account invitation to email / phone" to send activation and welcome message to customers.



1.4 At the next page, you'll be able to collect more customer’s information.

2. Add existing customer to cart


There are 2 methods you can add existing customer to cart:


2.1 Search customer by name, email or phone > tap the customer name.



2.2 Or, you can scan customer’s member QR or barcode.



Member QR or barcode can be found in member app profile page > tap the tiny barcode icon:



3. View customer's insights


By having access to customer's details including membership status, preferences and purchase history, you get insights of customer’s shopping behavior and can offer personalized recommendations to enhance customer’s experience.


3.1 Once customer been added to cart, you can view customer’s profile by tapping on their names.



3.2 You will find overview of customer’s details on top:


  • Membership status and amount needed to upgrade to next tier
  • Customer since
  • Average order value
  • Online in-cart items
  • Points balance
  • Credits balance
  • Next birthday



3.3 Scroll to bottom, you can further check customer’s:


  • In-cart items (items that customer added in online cart)
  • Bought items
  • Order history



3.4 If customer would like to checkout in-cart items together, you can tap In-cart items > tap the item to help customer add it to their current POS cart.



4. Apply voucher


Customers can use their vouchers online and in-store.


Check vouchers in customer's account


4.1 To help customers check all the available vouchers in their account, tap customer name > Vouchers



Assign voucher to customer


4.2 If the voucher is not in customer’s account and you want to offer it to customer on the spot, you can assign the voucher to customer in POS.


Tap customer’s name > Assign voucher



Select the voucher that want to give it to customer > Confirm.



Apply voucher in POS


After adding items to cart, you will see the number indicator how many vouchers can be applied to this order.


4.3 To help customer apply the voucher to this order, tap the voucher box.



Here you can help customer apply:


  • Vouchers, or
  • Discounts (promotions created in admin panel with discount code)



Tap the voucher or discount and it will be applied to cart.



4.4. If customer has a specific voucher that they want to use, you can help customer scan the voucher barcode to add it to cart.


📌 Reminder: Make sure cart fulfill voucher conditions before scan.



Voucher barcode can be found in member app > Vouchers > tap the voucher:



5. Apply points and/or credits


5.1 To help customers apply points / credits, you may tap Point / Credit box at the bottom of the cart.



5.2 By default, the max points / credits will be applied. If you’d like to adjust the points / credits amount, tap the applied Point / Credit applied box.



5.3 Manual adjust the points / credits amount > Confirm.



5.4 Points / credits applied is adjusted.
