Set Up a Specific Courier Service by Disabling EasyParcel Rate

1. Why are there many courier services shown at the checkout page?

We often get questions from merchants wondering why enabling EasyParcel Rate in the EasyParcel Malaysia app displays all the available courier services at checkout.

Here's why:

Once you enable EasyParcel Rate, the system automatically lists all courier options provided by EasyParcel. This ensures your customers can choose from a variety of delivery options based on their preferences for price, speed, or specific couriers.

Some sellers may prefer to display only a specific courier service (e.g., J&T Express) at checkout page. To achieve this, follow the steps below:

2. How to Disable EasyParcel Rate

2.1 Go to EasyStore Admin Panel > Apps > EasyParcel Malaysia, uncheck / untick Enable EasyParcel Rate, and click Save.

3. Setting Up a Selected Courier Service

3.1 Go to your EasyStore Admin Panel > Settings > Shipping > Add Shipping, and manually create a new shipping method for your selected courier service. Use the shipping rates provided by EasyParcel Malaysia as a reference.

💡 Tip: You can also set a custom shipping rate different from EasyParcel Malaysia's rate—it will still function correctly.

3.2 Here’s an example setup for J&T Express with a shipping rate based on weight:

A. Shipping destinations

Add in your zone name **(will not be shown to the customers) > choose your **country > choose your regions by " zip codes" or "sub-regions"

B. Methods and rates

Set your methods and rates accordingly as per below screenshot
