1. Introduction

Looking to improve your packing and shipping process? EasyStore Packing Assistant helps you avoid common mistakes like duplicate packing, sending the wrong products, or missing items. It's a simple way to boost efficiency and ensure every order is shipped accurately and efficiently.

The Packing Assistant helps ensure accurate packing by allowing you to scan products in each order. As each item is scanned:

✅ The system verifies the correct item and quantity
✅ Items are marked as packed in real time
✅Once complete, you can mark the order as Packed (for delivery) or Ready for Pickup (for pickup)

2. Before packing

2.1 For shipping orders, make sure to fulfill the order first before using the Packing Assistant. Click here to learn how to fulfill an order.

📌 One shipping order may include multiple fulfillments (each with its own tracking number), which means it may require multiple packing sessions.

2.2 For pickup orders, make sure to proceed with packing without fulfill the order. The order will auto update to fulfilled once it’s packed.

3. Start packing

3.1 Go to Orders listing > 3-dot menu > Packing Assistant.


3.2 Manually key in order or tracking number to search. You can also search by scanning order or tracking barcode.

💡 Tips: You can find the order barcode in packing slip.


3.3 If the order having multiple fulfillments, you need to select the fulfillment you want to pack.


3.4 If the order only have 1 fulfillment, you can proceed to pack. Start packing by scanning the item barcode or manually update the packed item quantity.


3.5 Once all items have been packed, click Mark as packed for shipping order or Ready for pickup for pickup order and packing is done.


3.6 For pickup order, there's one more step to update the latest expected pickup date & time, if any changes.

4. Reminders

4.1 If you have scanned more than the item quantity in the order, system will prompt reminder.


4.2 If the same order or tracking number is searched again, system will prompt reminder and you won't be able to pack the order again using assistant.
