📌 Important Note :

Before you begin, we would highly suggest you to have one email hosting for example like yourname@yourbusinessname.com (also known as professional email). If you do not own any email hosting yet, kindly register one through 3rd party email hosting provider such as ZOHO Mail

Next, you can point the MX Record (provided by your email hosting provider) to your domain DNS Record. Here would be a few example for ZOHO Mail :

1. About Mailchimp

Mailchimp allows you to send marketing emails, automated messages, and targeted campaigns. It serves as the world’s leading email marketing platform that sends more than a billion emails a day.  Besides that, it is also a tool that you can use to create and manage mailing lists and newsletters, and the best thing is its suits every business.

2. Install Mailchimp

Step 1 : EasyStore Admin > Apps > More apps > Search Mailchimp > Install



Step 2 : Sign Up with a Mailchimp account. You may click here to sign up



Step 3 : Once you've successfully signed up, click on the "Avatar" at the bottom left corner > Choose 'Account'  



Step 4 : Extras > API keys > Create a key > Copy API key 





Step 5 : Go back admin panel > Apps > Mailchimp > API Key > paste the API key



Step 6 : Confirm API Key and you're done

💡Note: Subscriber List will be automatically created based on the Business name that has been filled when creating a Mailchimp account.

3. Subscribe Newsletter Button

The Subscribe Newsletter button can be turned ON and OFF at: Admin panel > Apps > Mailchimp > Subscriber List tab



The result if turning ON will show as following in your online store Home page

4. Pop-Up Subscription with Mailchimp

Design a subscriber pop-up form that can be embedded on your online store with Mailchimp Pop-up Form Builder.

Step 1 : Login to Mailchimp account > Create > Signup Form > Pop-up form > Select An Audience > Begin



Step 2 : Select a Layout



Step 3 : Add Headline or Description > Edit Label > Add Helper Text (optional) > Edit Subscribe button



Step 4 : Click Edit > Managed Connected Site > View Code > Copy the Code > Paste in EasyStore Mailchimp app Pop-Up setting



Step 5 : Save setting. Your Pop-up subscription form will now be displayed on your online store.
